Commodores Message

To all of the members of NLYC,

On behalf of the Officers and Directors of the North Lake Yacht Club Board, I would like to welcome all of our NLYC members to another season of friendship and sailing on North Lake. Please review all of the social functions listed in the log for the 2007 Season. We are always interested in new ideas for activities that are fun and of interest to our membership. We have some very enthusiastic volunteers who are planning to bring some new and exciting events to the Club. We strongly encourage you to attend these events and meet your neighbors and fellow members.

I would particularly like to re-welcome and thank all of those members who have contributed so generously in money, time and talent to our new North Lake Yacht Club building. Many members of the Club have worked tirelessly and energetically to complete the financing, construction and decoration of a wonderful facility which will be home to our Club and to the North Lake Sailing School for many years to come.

I am very honored to serve your Club as Commodore. Flint and I look forward to seeing you on the water this summer.
